Objective
Julie and John are world-wide travelers, travel tour guides, import business owners, and now bloggers. Julie found me on Fiverr, due to my gig specializing in WordPress blog development. After some messaging and phone calls, we decided to work together first through Fiverr, and then I moved on to working continuously with her and her husband as their web master for the blog.
Solution & Skills
We used WordPress.org to set this site up, along with the Divi theme by Elegant Designs. I loved learning Divi as it is both user and developer friendly, a hard-to-find mix. Julie and John worked hard to add, organize, and label all of their beautiful photos, and then began writing several easy-to-read and fascinating posts.
Creating the Stories From the Road blog was such a fun and educational experience. I was able to take everything I know about web development such as HTML, CSS, PHP, WordPress, SEO, and best practices, and wrap it all up into one exciting travel blog! And I even began a new journey learning how to use Divi. I also created the logo for the website using Canva.
